A trainees's view... Sarah

Sarah Lowe, Audit Junior

Currently working for Swan O' Sullivan since July 2013, Sarah holds a BA (Honours) in Accounting and Finance and is presently studying for her professional ACCA examinations.

Having ranked third in Ireland in her first professional ACCA exam in June 2014, with the support and guidance from the Partners and co-workers, Sarah believes she can achieve her goal of becoming a chartered certified accountant. Having progressed this far Sarah knows with a logical and systematic approach this goal is evidently achievable.

While employed in the practice, Sarah has gained a working knowledge on a variety of tasks including bookkeeping, preparation of accounts , audit testing and preparation of income tax returns. Thriving on the challenge of unfamiliar tasks, no two days in the office are the same.

When asked to comment, Sarah replied;

"I love the fact, that at Swan O Sullivan, everyone looks out for one another and is part of a team. Teamwork and effective communication is a very important aspect of the daily routine at Swan O Sullivan."

"I really enjoy the fact that I am learning constantly, whether it be how to complete a task , studying a new topic for my exams or even showing a new audit junior the ropes. The Partners and my managers in Swan O' Sullivan have always been supportive and with my hard work and dedication I know I can become a fully qualified accountant in the near future."

Outside of work Sarah is an active swimmer, fashion lover and enjoys time out with close family and friends.
